Underwriting Manager/Assistant Manager 45-60k - Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team's productivity and performance by conducting regular review.
• Evaluate and underwrite life insurance applications in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and initiatives.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior underwriters.
• Resolve internal and external enquiries and follow-up on escalated cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting life insurance products, candidates with fewer experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command in Chinese and English.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
