Catering Manager 48k - Private Family

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute tailored menus for household events and daily meals
• Coordinate with family members to understand preferences, dietary restrictions, and expectations
• Source and select the finest ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of quality and freshness
• Supervise a team of chefs, kitchen crew, and servers, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure outstanding visual appeal and taste
• Manage inventory, budget, and cost control
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Stay updated with culinary trends and new techniques, incorporating them into the menu offerings
• Foster strong relationships with trusted suppliers and vendors

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role, preferably within a high-profile family or luxury hospitality environment
• Extensive culinary knowledge and expertise in creating diverse menus, including international cuisines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of current food safety andsanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred
