Test Lead

Job duties

• Arrange release and deployment on UAT and production environments, including post-deployment check
• Provide support for production incidents, including issue replication and analysis, data patching, and passing relevant data to product/project team for follow-up
• Serve as test resource in performing day-to-day testing of POS application
• Perform system health check and monitor system batch jobs
• Work with vendor on security and server related tests such as penetration test, vulnerability tests, server upgrades, etc.
• Administer service requests for the team
• Generate system reports for management and helpdesk

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience with hands-on knowledge of JBoss/Tomcat and Apache administration and support
• Knowledge of multi-tiered web/mobile application architecture and infrastructure components (High Availability, Load Balancing, DB Connectivity)
• Familiarity with server certificate renewal processes
• Basic network and firewall knowledge is an added advantage
• Knowledge in areas such as PL/SQL programming, XML, JSON, API, Control-M desirable
• With experience and interest in performing functional test on mobile app preferred
• Willing and able to work under high pressure situations
• Willing and able to adapt and work in fast-paced environment with occasional overtime and off office hour work
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Pro-active personality with can-do attitude
• Able to be productive while working independently with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English
