System Specialist (Java) - Banking

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage vendors for system development
• Work with overseas or China offshore development teams for development
• Review and manage projects
• Provide production support and manage of incidents and problems for the system
• Review the works and provide support to the development team including:
  • Perform requirement study and analysis, research on new technology and provide technical suggestion
  • Co-ordinate with other system teams in designing and producing end-to-end solution
  • Prepare technical documents and source code review
  • Support of different kinds of testing and advise good practice in team
• Discover and evaluate new technologies to support business needs and strategy

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
• At least 6 years of experiences in IT application development experience in the banking industry, of which at least 1 year in system analysis position
• Experience with relevant systems say Payment Systems, preferable on SWIFT or FPS is a plus
• Knowledge on Java Spring/Spring Boot, XML and JSON, Oracle/MS SQL
• Familiar with interface integration development (such as REST API design) and system integrations
• Experience on DevOps or CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Jira) and test automation
• Experience on AIX/Windows/Unix and related shell scripts
• Team player with good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and can work independently
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
