System Engineer (banking up to 30k)

Job Description

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining information technology systems within our organization. Your primary focus will be on Windows systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to system improvements.

Responsibilities:

• System Design and Implementation:

  • Design and deploy Windows-based computing infrastructure to support critical banking operations.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and IT staff during system creation and maintenance.
  • Establish control features to meet quality standards.

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  • Troubleshoot network errors, system glitches, and technical issues promptly.
  • Ensure systems are operational and efficient.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to optimize performance.

• Security and Efficiency:

  • Implement networking rules for cybersecurity.
  • Monitor system performance and address vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for system projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, preferably within the banking domain.
  • Familiarity with Windows systems and related technologies.

• Skills:

  • Technical aptitude and quick learning ability.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows PCs, printers, and software installations.
  • Basic networking knowledge (VPN, static/dynamic IP, VLAN).
