System Analyst (JAVA) (45-55k)- Banking Industry

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, focusing on high-quality code and performance optimization.
  • Manage and coordinate offshore development teams, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and functionality.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user manuals to facilitate knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to team members as needed to enhance overall team capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of solid experience in Java development and web technologies.
  • Strong domain knowledge in the banking or financial industry, particularly in loan systems, is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking applications is a significant advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases is a plus.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and a strong sense of responsibility towards project outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
