Senior System Analyst - Financial (60-75k + bonus)

Job description

My client is a non-Chinese regional bank with expanding business in Hong Kong. They are hiring a high-calibre Java developer candidate as a permanent staff in their IT team for payment application development.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead software developers and provide guidance to implement system enhancements and maintenance
  • Maintain and support the existing channel applications
  • Provide technical solution consultancy to business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with vendors and collaborate with cross-functional teams for design, effort estimation, development, implementation and testing
  • Participate in full SDLC for application design, development, testing, implementation and production support
  • Monitor the overall development progress and perform code review to maintain the quality of deliverables



Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems or IT related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java web application development
  • Solid development experience in Spring, Springboot, REST WS, JPA
  • Hands-on experience in working with the following SQL Server, Oracle, Postgresql, MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, PowerBI
  • Capable of working independently and providing suggestions on system design
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese with strong communication skills; Cantonese speaking is a must
