Senior Product Designer (Toys | 30 - 40k)

My client is US toys and gifts manufacturer. Looking to enhance their design function, they are now in search of a Senior Product Designer.

Reporting to the Product Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the key person responsible for design / sample final check and specification's approval
• Support design and product team on innovative product designs from concept to final production
• Collaborate closely with the production team to oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring specification, IP licensee guideline and client's requirements are met
• Work with licensed IP to develop products that align with brand guidelines and licensing agreements
• Partner with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure product designs meet market needs and customer expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate the latest innovations into product designs.

To qualify, one must possess

• Diploma holder with at least 6 years of product design experience within the toys and gift industry
• Experience working with IP / licensee is a MUST
• Detail minded and problem-solving mentality
• Team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Good command in both spoken and written Chinese and English
