Job description
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and formats with both existing and potential customers
- Formulate strategic sales and promotional plans, ensuring excellence in execution through distributor collaboration, and effective field sales management
- Lead initiatives to expand distribution, ensuring rigorous execution of mandated product assortments while developing competitive pricing and promotional offers to enhance shopper engagement
- Implement promotional plans and efficiently set up point-of-purchase (POP) materials in collaboration with customers to meet company objectives
- Oversee budget management and P&L responsibilities, including demand forecasting and stock planning
- Lead joint business planning sessions with distributors to align strategies and objectives
- Prepare monthly reports that provide insights and action plans for presentation to top management
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in the FMCG sector, including at least 5 years in managerial grade. Field sales experience is an advantage.
- Highly motivated, agile, persistent, self-driven, positive thinker with a strategic mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and embrace challenges
