Regulatory Compliance, Senior Manager, Insurance

Our client, a prestigious insurance company with a strong presence in the APAC region, is expanding its Hong Kong business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-caliber business development professional to join their dynamic compliance team.

Job Description:

  • Provide compliance support for regulatory matters, focusing on the review of marketing materials and products.
  • Assist in developing effective compliance programs for products and selling processes, including identifying and evaluating controls for relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Advise and support the implementation of policies, procedures, and control measures, including post-sales operations.
  • Support the life product business in implementing new regulatory requirements and ongoing monitoring.
  • Offer advisory support on business projects and new compliance initiatives.
  • Provide compliance advice and clearance for product and marketing campaigns, business campaigns, and media releases.
  • Compile regular compliance and regulatory reports and support annual corporate compliance reporting exercises.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Law, Business, or another relevant discipline.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within the insurance sector.
  • Experience in dealing with regulators, such as the Insurance Authority and Securities and Futures Commission, is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Regulatory or compliance-related experience.
  • Less experience will be considered for a manager-level position.
