Regional Salesforce Developer/ Support Engineer - 12 month renewable contract, Luxury Retail



Responsibilities

  • Mainly focus on implementing and enhancing customized Salesforce solutions, applying industry best practices, deep experience, and detailed knowledge of Salesforce components to design and build any custom components required.
  • Evaluate legacy applications and propose a cloud-enabled application stack that leverages the Salesforce platform for a future state application
  • Able to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
  • Perform the detailed design, configuration, build, and test of application and technical architecture components.
  • Provide documentation of application solutions including functional, specifications, technical specifications and workflow diagrams; Provide end-user training & production support
  • Lead & work with the onshore / offshore development team to implement the technical solution
  • Enforce good security coding standard and delivery quality, provide technical governance to ensure the best practices

Required skills and qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience required; Computer Science, Information Systems background desired
  • Minimum 3 years of design & implementation experience on complex, large-scale Salesforce solutions
  • Solid experience working with clients across cloud transformation projects with a focus on at least 2 of the Salesforce.com major platforms (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Marketing Cloud / Commerce Cloud)
  • Experience in programming languages such as Java, C#, or other OO programming languages would be advantageous
  • Experience with common integration patterns used between legacy systems to integrate with the Salesforce platform
  • Sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile
  • Understand data migration considerations, design trade-offs, and common ETL tools
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Experience in client service role would be advantageous
  • Experience in holistic Salesforce solutions with a customer 360-degree view, and personalized service & marketing would be advantageous
