Regional Sales Manager, Building Materials
Job description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales in excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth and build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets, across various sales channels including distribution, retail and project.
- Hands on experience in sales and business development; Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the building materials industry. Prior experience in managing regional distribution network in APAC is required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Regular traveling to various APAC markets is required.
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required.
