PMO (Financial Planning)- Banking Industry 45-55k
Job description
Responsibilities:
Project/Portfolio management
- Perform portfolio governance, drive PMO best practices, coordinate updates with project managers and create material and metrics/KPIs for various governance meetings.
- Maintain processes to ensure project management plans and reports are relevant, accurate & complete.
- Supports strategic technology initiatives as required.
Project Financials
- Consolidate and analyze finance data to facilitate management reporting.
- Ongoing reporting on items such as budget against actual and explanations of variances.
- Control over the incurred costs against the planned expenditure with through understanding of project accruals and impacts.
- Work closely with various SG & HK stakeholder groups (including technology teams, business users & finance groups) for project portfolio management support.
- Supports headcount and vendor resource hiring, planning and tracking.
Management support
- Support senior leaders on people engagement activities, like townhalls, company events
- Works with internal communications teams and people strategy teams on any bank-wide/division-wide initiatives/external events
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance or IT related disciplines.
- 5+ years Business management/PMO relevant knowledge in retail banking business and products.
- Project management (i.e. Agile, Scrum, PMP) certification will be an advantage.
- Recognized professional qualification in IT management or Accounting will be an advantage.
- Strong project governance mindset, plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams/line of business/location.
- Strong team player with analytical mind and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Excellent knowledge in MS office applications (e.g. Outlook, Excel & Powerpoint).
