OEM Sourcing Manager (FMCG | 50 - 60k)

Job description

My client is a leading FMCG company. Looking to enhance their sourcing function, they are now in search of an OEM Sourcing Manager.

Reporting to the Sourcing VP, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and onboard reliable OEM partners, assessing their capabilities, quality standards, and compliance with company requirements
  • Lead price negotiations, contract structuring, and supplier agreements to optimize costs while ensuring high-quality output
  • Establish KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure timely delivery, quality consistency, and compliance with company standards
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging OEM suppliers, and new sourcing opportunities in key regions
  • Assess and mitigate risks in supplier reliability, geopolitical factors, and regulatory compliance to maintain a stable supply chain
  • Work closely with product development, operations, and quality assurance teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline sourcing processes, improve supplier terms, and enhance cost efficiency

To qualify, one must possess

  • Degree holder with at least8 years of OEM suppliers sourcing experience (not raw material sourcing)
  • Experience with FMCG product (both food or non-food) would be an advantage
  • Experience working on cost saving or process improvement projects
  • Experience collaborating with regional or global HQ would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving mentality
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
