Manager, Product Development (Life Insurance Products)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Leader in leading workgroups for various product initiatives, such as regulatory changes and product feature design and development.
  • Work with different departments, including Actuarial, Finance, IT, Operations, Distribution Channels, Marketing, and Compliance, to manage the entire insurance product development cycle, from pipeline management to approval.
  • Oversee and coordinate the creation of product materials, training tools, and product briefings before product launches.
  • Help the division/department head by preparing recommendations for management, based on ongoing reviews and monitoring of the performance and competitiveness of existing, newly launched, and updated products.
  • Conduct market research and regularly prepare competitive analyses.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
