IT Project Manager (MPF/ Pension)- Insurance 55-75k

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of IT Wealth and Pension projects of small to medium size according to scope, cost, and timeline with the most suitable methodology (Waterfall or Agile delivery methodology)
  • Ensure initiatives running in different delivery methodologies having dependencies clearly identified with delivery timeline and resources integrated seamlessly between the initiatives
  • Responsible for project budgeting, tracking, and reporting. Align with business stakeholders on process and metric that meets the agile delivery methodology
  • Support portfolio reporting and dashboard preparation
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize scope / timeline to drive the best business values with the project investments
  • Run projects in a hybrid model of both Waterfall and Agile, including working with business on concept changes for project scope, cost and resources approval process, financial tracking, etc.
  • Negotiate with different business stakeholders to compromise on the scope/timeline to ensure synergy between projects.
  • Frequent contact with business stakeholders to align on project delivery methodology and align projects deliverables
  • Frequent contact with IT delivery teams, vendors, and regional delivery team to align on project delivery resource planning

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-6 years of working experience in project management/business analysis field in banking/insurance/financial industry
  • Domain knowledge of MPF / Pension preferred
  • Technical knowledge - Preferably with technical knowledge of cloud workloads on React.js and Java technology stacks
  • Certification in Project Management and Agile such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist is preferred
  • Experience in managing projects using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodology
  • Experience in project management or Agile methodology tools such as MS Project, JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong communication, collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship building in managing various business partners and vendors
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
