IT Project Manager - Financial Services - Hong Kong

Job description

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for defining, organising and managing one or multiple projects to be delivered.
  • You will define scope, initiate and manage IT projects ensuring successful and timely delivery within approved budget.
  • You will be responsible for the timely identification, reporting and resolution of issues & risks, directing the work and resource planning.
  • You will drive project governance and compliance through established standards. Provide timely and regular status update to PMO and management.
  • You will manage and track vendor deliverables to ensure timely delivery with acceptable quality.
  • You will need to deliver duties during non-office hours and on holidays, when project demands.
  • You will identify and highlight interdependencies between projects to ensure that potential project risks are mitigated.
  • You will facilitate project status meetings to ensure that all issues are addressed during meetings and the meetings serve as a platform for brainstorming, decision-making and issue resolution.
  • You will prepare clear communication, both written and oral, to drive decision making, obtain guidance and direction and/or inform stakeholders on project status.
  • You will oversee and advise on all project communication matters to ensure there is an adequate level of communication between all relevant parties within a project.
  • You will manage external vendors and the technical teams to ensure the project is on track in terms of quality, delivery milestones and costs.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of proven Project Management experience in the field of IT application or infrastructure
  • Hands-on IT projects management experience
  • Significant experience in an international context and enterprise level environment
  • Strong interest for IT and willing to work on complex & challenging projects
