IT Procurement Manager (New Projects, AI | 70 - 90k)

Job description

My client is market leading conglomerate. Looking to enhance their IT procurement function and new technology, they are now in search of an IT Procurement Manager.

Reporting to the IT Procurement Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and evaluate new technology vendors and solutions that align with our business goals and IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market conditions to inform procurement strategies.
  • Optimize procurement costs while ensuring the acquisition of high-quality technology solutions.
  • Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts with technology vendors.
  • Work closely with IT, finance, and other departments to understand their technology needs and ensure alignment with procurement activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology procurement, including compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

To qualify, one must possess

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years of IT procurement management experience
  • Proven track record of procurement experience with IT infrastructure, software or services
  • Urgent role so immediately available wanted / capable to on board in January 2025
  • Knowledge or interest in newest technologies development
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
