Indirect Procurement Manager (Consumer | 45 - 50k)

My client is market leading consumer product company. Looking to enhance their procurement function, they are now in search of an Indirect Procurement Manager.

Reporting to the Regional Procurement Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the procurement PIC for Hong Kong market and understand the needs of internal stake holders (sales & marketing, professional services etc)
• \Identify procurement best practices and develop continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Innovate sourcing approaches using analytics and processes to evaluate benefits, risks, and change management impact.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders for assigned sub-categories.
• Manage sourcing activities, including bid and RFI/RFP requests.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts with vendors on behalf of Procurement.

To qualify, one must possess

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of procurement management experience
• Experience within the consumer sector would be an advantage
• Indirect procurement experience covering marketing and other corporate services function would be an advantage
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Good business acumen
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
