HR Manager - Learning and Development | up to 50K

Job description

As an L&D Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing employee skills and knowledge within the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategy and Program Development:

    • Develop and execute learning strategies aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
    • Design and implement training programs, workshops, and e-learning solutions catering to employees at all levels across various regions.
    • Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and areas for improvement.
  2. Curriculum Management:

    • Create and maintain a comprehensive curriculum covering leadership development, technical training, soft skills enhancement, and compliance training.
  3. Collaboration and Integration:

    • Collaborate with managers and HR teams to integrate learning and development initiatives with performance management processes.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing career development opportunities and succession planning support.
  4. External Relationships and Budget Management:

    • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training providers and consultants.
    • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
  5. Measurement and Alignment:

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of learning programs.
    • Work closely with global HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment of L&D initiatives across different regions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and e-learning technologies.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in human resources information systems (HRIS) and learning management systems (LMS), along with familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing); additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
