HR Business Partner

Job description

The HRBP will play a critical role in aligning their HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's objectives and growth.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing and implementing change management strategies. Develop succession planning and career development programs.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to ensure employees' performance aligns with organizational goals. Provide coaching and feedback to managers and employees.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. This includes handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Ensure the organization complies with local labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and advise management accordingly.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in HR business partnering gained from established and sizable blue-chip companies or multinational companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop HR initiatives that align with business objectives. Experience in driving organizational change and transformation.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Hong Kong. Familiarity with global HR trends and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex employee relations issues. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable in HR metrics and analytics. Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions to improve HR processes.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
