Head of Leasing Operation (Aircraft / Fleet / Shipping)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the leasing business, ensuring efficient and effective management of all activities.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the business to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Oversee lease financing activities, ensuring effective credit analysis to support leasing decisions.
• Monitor and optimize the utilization of asset to maximize efficiency and profitability, improve utilization rates and reduce idle time.
• Oversee asset management, including tracking and maintenance of leased assets. Develop strategies to optimize assets availability and turnaround times.
• Ensure effective risk management practices, including operation risks mitigation, credit risk assessment and mitigation.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve business objectives.
• Manage lease agreements, including drafting, negotiation, and execution.
• Utilize lease management software and asset tracking systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and innovation in leasing solutions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and financial institutions involved in leasing.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and business growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the leasing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the business and operation model of leasing industry, with solid experience in lease financing management, credit analysis and lease contract management,
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans tailored to leasing operations.
• Excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of leading high performing teams to achieve business goals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
