Head of Information Security (1.5LOD)

The company is a financial institution with strong Hong Kong and Greater China business coverage. They are hiring a Head of Information Security to lead their 1.5LOD function.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals for enterprise-wide information security and technology risk management
• Drive and manage effective cybersecurity strategy to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Define, track and monitor security related KRIs and KPIs
• Formulate and implement security governance frameworks to ensure high cybersecurity standard
• Preparing regular reports on cybersecurity risk exposures, implication and mitigating measures required for senior management reporting
• Prepare and support audits related to technology and security
• Perform thematic review on the effectiveness of the security operations process and also the configuration of the security solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or related fields
• Holder of professional certifications, eg CISM, CISSP, CISA
• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with most recent experience in leading a team for 1.5LOD in banking/insurance industry, is a must
• Experience in information security requirements of China is an advantage
• Proven experience in leading technology risk management and risk reporting, and reviewing the effective of security operations
• Excellent communication and presentation skill in Chinese is necessary, fluent in English
