Head of Finance

The Company

Our client is market leading air cargo company. They are looking for a head of finance role. This position will report the group CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to provide efficient and insightful financial information support to support Director and management team for making the best decisions.
  • Support in project evaluation and project accounting
  • Help the Director Cargo raise awareness of compliance and enhance internal controls
  • Responsible for annual budget and coordinate the preparation of the Annual and Interim Business Review.
  • Prepare and consolidate the current year forecast regularly
  • Prepare management report and present financial information and insights across the Cargo Line to support management to monitor and improve business performance
  • Create and implement a business KPI to measure Cargo Line business performance
  • Lead the team responsible for all cargo revenue accounting, including oversight of revenue recognition, revenue accounting systems, and support for new sales initiatives.
  • Monitor the AR balance closely.
  • Build and coach a team for their development and capable to fulfill accountabilities
  • Foster a learning culture within the teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with CPA qualifications
  • Strong analytical, partnership and controller skills
  • Proven track record of managing a large team handling multiple and diverse issues
  • Able to set clear goal and articulate changing vision
  • Strong communication skill and able to engage within the team, the wider business at various levels, and with external stakeholders, e.g. IATA, banks, etc.
