Full Stack Developer - Python (Private Banking)

Job description

As a Full Stack Developer, you are responsible for the successful development of our Investment Portfolio and Digitilisation strategy within the Investment Services Asia team.

Your specific duties include:
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions - Build highly responsive web - Applications through appealing visual design using Angular
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications, following a micro services architecture
-Write effective APIs, and build reusable components for future use- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software - Migrate existing VBA Macros using Python You will be working in product oriented agile delivery teams with key stakeholders in APAC & EMEA. You will be located in HK.

What we look for
- This role requires a passion to code, test and deliver quality applications within the desired timeframes.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications, also cloud native (Azure) ? Familiarity with common stacks, agile and CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, TypeScript, XML, jQuery)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), container technology (kubernetes or OpenShift) and DevOps platforms (GitLab)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills ? Great attention to detail, solution driven and analytical mindset person
