Financial analyst/ controller

The Company

Our client is prestigious luxury good holding company with a diverse jewellery, watches and fashion portfolio. They are hiring a controller to safeguard the financial objective for NEA markets. This position reports to Head of FP&A.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a finance business partner to Maisons/functions to comment on, challenge and explain financial performance
  • Safeguard the financial objective through both P&L and assets of the Maisons/functions by analyzing financial impacts of budget/ forecast deviations, and maintaining the independent view of Finance in business decisions
  • Prepare timely HK and Macau financial and management reports to HQ and management
  • Provide operational support and advice on proper policy and procedure, compliance and financial impact to assigned Maisons' retail and wholesale operations
  • Take part in the Finance transformation projects & process automization, you will support in streamline and automate the operating process by coordinating with Regional Finance and IT to develop regular financial management reports and business analysis for maisons/ functions management

Requirements:

  • University graduate with minimum 3-5 years finance or accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel, able to manage high volume of data with complexity accurately
  • Highly process-driven and systematic in approach
  • Knowledge in SAP/SAC systems will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective stakeholder management in matrix environment
  • Good Team player with challenging partnership
