Financial Analyst (Contract role)

Job description

The Company

Our client is a UK optical manufacturing company. They are looking for a 6 month contract financial analyst.

Responsibility

  • Prepare management reports to measure and enhance business performance.
  • Review KPI and identify trends, prepare analytical report for management to address issues and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Build and develop new financial models for strategic initiatives
  • Ensure effective execution of the forecast and annual budget processes.
  • Perform variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Assist in business partnering and liaise with various departments to gather financial information and insights
  • Ensure data accuracy and responsible to develop and maintain data warehouse

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with strong proficiency in Excel
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and communication skills
  • Preferrable proficient in BI and data visualization tools
