Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager (1 year contract)

Job description

Our client is a world leading retailer. They are looking for a Contract Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager to support and review the accounting operation and reporting duties across APAC. This person will also be a key player to support the system implementation of Dynamic 365 roll out in 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise regional accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance for all financial numbers submission to local/regional/global
  • Handle and organize control activities includes perform local stock take, cycle count review, physical asset audit & disposal of assets etc.
  • Drive operation efficiency and provide exceptional service to the market
  • Liaise with external auditor and ensure to meet local statutory requirements
  • Work closely with Finance Business Service team and other stakeholders to provide solution and alternative in resolving financial accounting & reporting related issues
  • Handle local specific procedures to comply with local regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key contact person with local business, regional & global enquiry about the actual financial data/reports
  • Be the key contact person to liaise with external service providers and local tax authority for any tax enquiry
  • Prepare & submit CIT, VAT, WHT and TP calculation include handling tax treatment exception
  • Liaise with banks and merchants on treasury issues
  • Lead special project and provide training to the finance operation team
  • Manage credit limit and stock operation team

Requirements

  • University degree holder with CPA or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 8 years working experience, with at least 3 years managerial experience, regional experience is a must
  • Big 4 audit experience is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
