Finance Manager - Prestigious Int'l Law Firm

Our client is one of the top international law firms with an established and sizeable office in Hong Kong and more than 30 offices globally.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage daily finance operations, ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and timely submission of financial statements.
• Oversee financial accounting for the office, including statutory accounting, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and collaborate with the working capital team on financial operations.
• Support partners with profitability analysis, financial planning, and preparation of reports for management meetings.
• Drive process improvements and manage financial risks, ensuring alignment with local and firm-wide policies.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and collaborate with China and global finance teams to share best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA / HKSA /ACCA or equivalent
• At least 5 years' solid finance and accounting experience in managerial level
• Familiarity with PRC tax regulations will be a plus
• Capable of critical thinking and questioning current processes.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.
