Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with corporate goals and business directions.
- Leadership: Lead and manage the corporate communications team and external PR agencies to ensure cohesive and effective communication efforts.
- Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, newsletters, and corporate publications.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, handle media inquiries, and manage press conferences and public events.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels to build and protect the company's reputation.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate potential risks to the company's reputation.
- Internal Communications: Enhance internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and social sentiment, analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, to align communication efforts with business objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the communications budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Translation, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years in corporate communications and public affairs, preferably with experience in in-house and agency or media setting.
- A strong passion for communications, coupled with an innovative mindset and a drive for excellence.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with media and public affairs, with experience in media relations being advantageous.
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
