Compliance Director - Life Insurance

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of FATCA, Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Outsourcing programs ("Programs") for the local business.
  • Develop guidelines, templates and presentations to improve the management and execution of the Programs, as well as other regulatory compliance guidelines issued by relevant regulators.
  • Ensure timely implementation of regulatory compliance framework to ensure all relevant regulatory developments are in accordance and addressed by relevant parties.
  • Support and maintain accurate compliance risk reporting and schedule relevant compliance coaching to ensure a high level of awareness activities
  • Assist in identifications of potential risks across Compliance functions to ensure senior management is alarmed on a timely manner
  • Coach and develop compliance team members with high potentials

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 12+ years Control function experience, preferably Compliance, within the Financial Services sector
  • Life Insurance experience is a must
  • Degree holder; Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Adequate understanding of Insurance Regulations
  • Solid stakeholder management experience
