Cloud Application Architect (70-85k + bonus) - investment

Job description

My client is a leading financial institution with a portfolio of investment products as offerings, expanding in Hong Kong with concrete business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, create and maintain cloud applications
  • Partner with business to gain a deep understanding of business goals and requirements
  • Manage 3rd party vendor to develop Java-based applications to ensure accurate service delivery
  • Design and deploy Java-based applications on cloud using modern frameworks and best practices
  • Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings and status updates
  • Keep abreast of latest trends in technology, industry and corresponding business domain

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience, desirably from Financial Services industry or Bluechip companies; open to candidate who desires to progress from developer into architect
  • Proven experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Rest API, JSON/XML, SQL, React, Cordova, DevOps (Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, UCD, Docker)
  • Solid experience in cloud native solution / microservices architecture design & development is a must
  • Hands on cloud application experience in AWS/Azure/GCP/Huawei/Aliyun
  • Good practice in Agile software development framework e.g. Scrum
  • Excellent command of written and spoke English & Cantonese
