Catering Operation Manager

Job description

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the catering services to ensure high-quality food and beverage service.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless execution of catering events.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial targets are met and operational costs are controlled.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing catering team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for business growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Gather feedback to continually improve service offerings.

Requirements:

  • achelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the catering and food & beverage industry, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in P&L management and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in catering management software and Microsoft Office Suite
