Business System Analyst - Policy Administration

Job responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to product life cycle management.
• Analyze existing systems and process to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Create detailed use cases and user stories to communicate requirements to development teams.
• Act as a liaison between business units, offshore development team to ensure alignment on target deliverables.
• Align with user on UAT schedule and to verify solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Support project management activities, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress and risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong domain knowledge on product development and policy administration systems.
• In-depth understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle and regulatory requirements within industry.
• Familiarity with system development methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfalls and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to details.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skill, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and conflict-resolution abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
