Banking Application Support (FIX)

Job description

Responsibilities

* Member of application Support Team to maintain and support on Investment Platform applications for their functionality, availability, performance and security.

* Member of Trading Support Team for daily trading floor support and client on-boarding for FIX application.

* Problem and Incident Management upon production issue surfaces, escalation, investigation, resolution (both tactical and permanent), root cause analysis to closure.

* Business Management in terms of support on production implementations as well as user queries in supporting their daily operations.

* Release Management in liaising the release window across all units and platforms as well as deployment is implemented in accordance to the release plan.

Requirements

* Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline

* Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experiences in financial IT system support and implementation

* Experience in SRE and DevOps methodologies

* Experience in Oracle, Unix scripts, AIX and Linux

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skill on trading support issues.

* Experience in different monitoring tools (Grafana, AppDynamics…) and build different dashboards with them

* Experience in FIX application development and support would be an advantage

* Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies preferred

* Experience in cloud infrastructure and chaos engineering preferred.

* Strong awareness of application security, technology risk and source control

* Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
