Assistant Financial Controller - Based PRC

About the company:

Our client is a Hong Kong Listed international company with a major business in commerce and real estate. As part of their development, they are currently looking to hire an Assistant Financial Controller based in the Guangdong area to manage the overall Finance function of its key assets in real estate

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with PRC and Hong Kong Finance team to manage the financials of the real estate and leasing business
  • Become the finance business partner for internal Directors and provide advice on business performance as well as asset performance
  • Conduct due diligence and analysis on potential acquisitions, and advise on underperforming assets
  • Provide analytical insights and financial reports to the group headquarters in Hong Kong, regular meetings with group level team to report performance
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting to ensure accurate delivery of financial information
  • Improvement of existing reporting templates for management usage

Key requirements

  • Willingness to be based in the Guangdong province accessible by high speed rail system
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines with professional qualification
  • At least 15 years of working experience in Accounting related fields in a sizable organization
  • 5.5 Days alternative weekends, with housing and meal subsidy as well as transport allowance
  • Strong knowledge in real estate, leasing is required
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
