Application Support Engineer (L2) - ibank

It is a leading and expanding foreign investment firm in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain pre- and post-trade systems
• Follow-up issues and liaise with vendor and users' requests in a timely manner;
• User management, configuration management and software promotion/release to various system environments;
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of business test phases; manage and coordinate with users to have UAT for on-going system upgrades
• Maintain disaster recovery solutions across different domains

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment institutions; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered
• Domain knowledge in any asset class is preferred: equity, credit, commodity
• Strong commands in Unix scripting and SQL queries
• Willing to learn; exposure to DevOps technologies will be given
• Great attitude to learn and work in a team
• Excellent communication skill in English is necessary
